KENNETH BAIRD
Dr. Baird has been practicing family medicine since 1989. He became involved in aesthetics in 2005, with Botox injections and dermal fillers. He further expanded the scope of his practice to include anti-aging procedures and is currently a BioTE and GAINESWave provider. His patients appreciate his care and passion for their wellness, resulting in many satisfied patients and referrals. At the beginning of 2017, he became the Medical Director at Calista, where he performs and supervises clinical procedures. We’re excited to have Dr. Baird performing aesthetic injections on Wednesday evenings.
When Dr. Baird is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, exercising, and martial arts. As a third-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, he not only enjoys training but is also a corner judge and referee at state and national tournaments.
Laura Whitley
As one of Calista’s founding team members, Laura Whitley is an invaluable asset to our practice. She is a certified Professional Laser Technician — the highest laser certification available in the state of Texas — and brings over 30 years of experience in both aesthetic and dermatologic procedures.
Laura is extensively trained in the latest aesthetic technologies, including fractional CO₂ resurfacing, radiofrequency (RF) and ultrasound skin rejuvenation, picosecond laser treatments for scar and tattoo removal, Botox and dermal fillers, and PRP-based procedures.

CARLY RIGGINS
Professional Laser Technician
Carly Riggins joined Calista in 2017 and is a state-certified Professional Laser Technician as well as a licensed cosmetologist. She completed her training at Duvall’s School of Cosmetology and the Texas Laser Institute and has received advanced instruction in a wide range of in-demand procedures.
Her specialties include microneedling, fibroblast plasma pen treatments, RF skin resurfacing, and non-invasive body sculpting. Clients consistently appreciate Carly’s confidence, thorough knowledge, and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
When she’s not at the clinic, Carly enjoys spending weekends with her husband and family at their lake house on Lake Granbury.
TRISH COPP
Office Manager
Trish Copp has been an integral part of Calista Skin & Laser Center since 2014. She lives in Colleyville with her husband, Mike, where they’ve raised their three (now grown) children.
Trish’s role spans across administration, front desk operations, and client consultations. She’s also a graduate of CoolSculpting University and is an excellent resource for any questions about body contouring treatments.
Known for her approachable demeanor and genuine care, Trish finds fulfillment in helping clients look and feel their best, supporting their journey toward more confident and active lifestyles. Just like the rest of our Calista team, Trish brings warmth, expertise, and heartfelt care to every visit.
Lindsey Sorensen
Lindsey Sorensen is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing. She has over 13 years of nursing experience and has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner for the past 6 years. Lindsey earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Lindsey brings a diverse background to her role, with experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, men’s and women’s sexual wellness, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss, and IV therapy. She is extensively trained in PRP procedures including the O-Shot and P-Shot, facial threading, medical injectables such as Kybella and Botox, and vaginal rejuvenation technologies including CO₂RE Intima and Morpheus8V.
Passionate about helping patients feel confident and empowered, Lindsey is dedicated to guiding them toward both short-term goals and long-term wellness. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor sports, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their two Labrador Retrievers.
ERIN MCDONALD
Medical Assistant
Erin McDonald attended Brown Mackie College, where she earned certifications in Phlebotomy and Medical Assisting. She has been a vital part of Calista Skin and Laser Center since 2016.
In addition to her responsibilities in phlebotomy and patient care, Erin plays a key role in supporting various medical procedures at Calista. Her training includes GLP-1 weight loss counseling, bio-identical hormone therapy, IV therapy, and CoolSculpting. Known for her friendly and knowledgeable approach, Erin is beloved by both clients and coworkers. Outside of work, Erin enjoys raising her son, Tucker, and cherishes time spent with family and friends.
Jana Parsons
Jana Parsons was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She brings over 15 years of experience in medical billing and joined the Calista Skin & Laser Center team as a receptionist in 2021. Prior to becoming part of the team, Jana was a loyal client of Calista for more than 8 years, giving her a unique perspective on the patient experience.
Jana’s warm personality, attention to detail, and genuine care for others make her an invaluable part of our front office team. She ensures that every patient feels welcome from the moment they walk through the door.
Outside of work, Jana enjoys spending time with her son and two grandchildren. She finds great joy in family and continues to be a friendly and familiar face to all who visit Calista.
DAN SCHILDGEN
Dan Schildgen earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of South Florida. After a successful career in the Animal Health Industry, Dan retired in 2006 and later founded Calista Skin & Laser Center in 2012.
Driven by a passion to make high-quality aesthetics more accessible, Dan is committed to offering advanced cosmetic treatments at affordable prices.
His greatest satisfaction comes from “helping people feel more confident about their appearance, ultimately seeing them lead more active and healthier lifestyles.”
Under his leadership, Calista has grown into one of the most successful aesthetic clinics in Texas.
